The Hoover Library Read Poster Honor recognizes six members from the McDaniel College community (two faculty, two staff, and two students) who exceptionally support, promote, and utilize Hoover Library and its resources and services. Honorees are recognized and featured on the upcoming year's READ posters to promote reading, literacy, and utilizing the library here at McDaniel College. A ceremony is also held to honor the recipients and reveal the READ posters to the public.
Nominees may have:
Demonstrated exemplary support, promotion, and/or utilization of the library and its resources and services
A profound passion/enthusiasm for information literacy, knowledge, research, and reading
Collaborated with the library on an event or exhibit or in research endeavors
Gone above and beyond their jobs/expectations to collaborate with the library, promote library resources and services, increase awareness of the library, and encourage others to do the same
Provided significant time, expertise, resources, and talent to library causes
Notably contributed to the library's success
