The Hoover Library supports McDaniel College’s mission as a diverse, student-centered community committed to excellence in the liberal arts and sciences and professional studies. Hoover Library is the core of scholarly interaction for the McDaniel College community of learners. As such, the library strives to:

• Lead in the development of facilities and services that enable inclusive and equitable learning, inquiry, and collaboration.
• Present creative and inspiring programming to the campus and local community.
• Support the college curriculum and student success through robust and effective information literacy instruction and research consultation services.
•  Provide equitable access to information resources that are diverse and relevant to the needs of our community.
