Discipline Specific Databases

Does your research topic fall into psychology, philosophy, political science, etc.? Check out one of the other research guides for suggested databases for those specific disciplines and other tips!

Searching Tips

  • Use " " around words to search as a phrase
  • Use AND between two terms to include both in results
  • Use OR between two terms to include either in results
  • Use NOT before a term to exclude it in the results
  • Use * at the end of the root part of a word to include all variations in the results (environ* for environment, environmental, environmentally...)
  • Try selecting filters!
  • Click on subject headings to explore other articles tagged with that term
