Did you know you can also find items available at the Carroll County Public Library and Community College? The link “Click here to see items from all branches…” will show all available items.  You can use the “Place Request” button to have an item delivered to Hoover Library for you if it’s available.

Search Results Tips:

• Too many results?  Look on the left under “Narrow your search” and choose from many options to limit your search by type of material, subject, author, etc.
• Not enough results?  Look on the left under “Related searches” and choose from many suggested alternative terms, such as a related subject or author.
• Looking for a particular format (dvd, etc.)?  Choose a format in the “Limit by” box.
• Click on the “Availability” button to find out if the title is available for you to check out.
  • Call No. – use this number to find the book on the shelf.  Some books are in special sections, such as R – Reference.
  • Shelf Location – lists the floor where the book is located (ex. L Floor)
  • Status – Checked in = should be here; Checked out = someone has it already; On order = ordered but not received yet.
