*Theatre Arts: Finding Scripts

This guide serves as a good starting point for conducting research in theatre arts.

Full-Text Scripts

Not all of the plays that are currently in publication are available online. While below you will find external internet links, your first stop should be our theatre-specific databases. If you don't find the title you're seeking in a database, be sure to search the library catalog for a physical copy. You can also request a copy of your desired play via Interlibrary Loan using your McDaniel username and password.

In the McDaniel Catalog, enter the title of your play in the Keyword search box in quotes, for example: "death of a salesman" or "miss julie." The search will locate the plays in the form of books or eBooks containing a single play or collections of scripts. These items are available to you in our collection.
