Getting Started: Library Catalog Search
A good way to start is by searching in the library catalog for books, e-books, DVDs, and more by using this search box:
You can also browse the shelves to find books related to your topic. To find books you're looking for, locate the tag on the end of each book shelf that indicates the number range of the books on that shelf.
More Places to Find Background Information
Don't feel like you know enough about your topic to start searching for sources yet? Try one of these:
Provides user-generated content, meaning anyone can edit Wikipedia articles--including you! It's a great place to start for background information and to get ideas for keywords to later search, but you will want to head towards more scholarly sources once you've finished your background information search.
