Online Library Instruction

Tools, resources, and strategies for adding library instruction sessions to the online learning environment.

Introduction

During these unprecedented and challenging times, Hoover Library's mission with respect to information literacy remains the same: To provide "instruction, and guidance for the interpretation and evaluation of information."

If you were thinking of requesting a library instruction session for one or more of your spring semester classes, we want you to know that your friendly Hoover Librarians are working on ways to make that happen in an online learning environment.

While we are not producing Oscar-winning film footage of ourselves presenting content (we wish we could), we are using our research skills to mine the web for OER information literacy resources we can package and pass on to you for use on your Blackboard course site, in lieu of a face-to-face library session.

Check the links on the left hand side of the page for resources.
