Borrowing Privileges

Hoover Library’s primary mission is to support the academic needs of the students, faculty, and staff of McDaniel College. As a member of the Carroll Library Partnership, we are also open to the public. Through membership in the Carroll Library Partnership and other consortia, members of the McDaniel community are able to borrow materials from other libraries in the area. Please see our list of Consortia Memberships for complete details.

Faculty, staff, and students must present a valid McDaniel College ID to check out materials.

Limited borrowing privileges are available at no charge to McDaniel College alumni and trustees, in-state members of the Carroll Library partnership, and faculty and students at other independent colleges and universities in Maryland.
