Stanton Collection

The Marion B. Stanton Collection consists of 167 twentieth-century first edition and notable press books. The collection features works by authors such as John Steinbeck, Robinson Jeffers, Rockwell Kent, Virginia Woolf, Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, D.H. Lawrence, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Edwin Arlington Robinson, Ernest Hemingway, Robert Frost, Sinclair Lewis, among many others. Eighty-two volumes are currently in circulation with another eighty-five housed in special collections. The collection was donated by WMC alum, Marion Stanton, class of 1919.
