Are you a grad student or just curious about finding your way around the library website? This version of the open house is for you!
We know not all of our students are on campus every day but you still need to access library resources. This version of the Open House Scavenger hunt will take you on a journey through the library's website and show you how to find your librarians, access databases, and more!
Finishing this scavenger hunt will earn you one entry into the raffle on October 6th to win a mini Lego set! Don't worry, if you're remote we'll send it to you.
Everything is cool when you're part of a team- take a tour and meet the Hooverlib team!
Additionally, our librarians have made some more optional activities that speak to their individual areas of interest. If you complete those, you'll get an additional entry into the raffle. Check them out!

The library is one one of the building blocks you need for a successful college career. But be careful, Herbie Hoover seems to have brought back a case of Lego Fever from his summer vacation and more and more of the librarians have been turning into Legos! Can you find them all?

Missed the Event? No problem! You can still do the scavenger hunt!
The scavenger hunt map and activity materials will be available in the library rotunda from now until October 6th. In order to get credit and be entered into the raffle, be sure to fully fill out the map or your activity and come find Steph Crowell in Wahrhaftig! They'll take your information and get you on the list.
If a virtual option is more your speed, don't worry we have one of those too. Our virtual open house can be found in the next tab of this website and completing it gets you an entry into the raffle as well. There are even some virtual versions of our activities!
Thanks to everyone who's participated so far. When we have a plan and are working together, we can build a skyscraper! (note: we will not be building a skyscraper in the library this fall.)
Visit the table outside the Hoover Library entrance once you're unpacked to meet the librarians and library staff. Find out about services and resources available through the Library, take a self-guided tour of the building, and grab some free swag and snacks!
